আমি বলছি না ভালোবাসতেই হবে, আমি চাই

বাইরে থেকে দরজা খুলতে খুলতে আমি এখন ক্লান্ত।

আমি বলছি না ভালোবাসতেই হবে, আমি চাই
কেউ আমাকে খেতে দিক।আমি হাতপাখা নিয়ে
কাউকে আমার পাশে বসে থাকতে বলছি না,
আমি জানি, এই ইলেক্ট্রিকের যুগ
নারীকে মুক্তি দিয়েছে স্বামী-সেবার দায় থেকে।

আমি চাই কেউ একজন আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস করুক:
আমার জল লাগবে কিনা, নুন লাগবে কিনা।
পাটশাক ভাজার সঙ্গে আরও একটা
তেলে ভাজা শুকনো মরিচ লাগবে কি না।
এঁটো বাসন গেজ্ঞি-রুমাল আমি নিজেই ধুতে পারি।

আমি বলছি না ভালোবাসতেই হবে, আমি চাই
কেউ একজন ভিতর থেকে আমার ঘরের দরোজা
খুলে দিক।কেউ আমাকে কিছু খেতে বলুক।
কাম-বাসনার সঙ্গী না হোক, কেউ অন্তত আমাকে
জিজ্ঞেস করুক: "তোমার চোখ এত লাল কেন?"

Main Storyline Adventure 1.1 : Creepy Fog

You are returning to Vamp'Ire Town to submit a quest you have completed. The town is about an 8 hour walking distance, and it's already evening, so you look for a good place for camping…

The woods are quiet this night, and the air grows chill. Your fire sputters as a low mist gathers around the edges of your camp, growing closer as the night wears on. By morning, the fog hangs thick in the air, turning the trees around you into gray ghosts. Then you notice these aren't the same trees that surrounded you the night before.

No matter which direction you go, you come to a lonely gravel road leading to a village . The tall houses are dark as tombstones. Nestled among these solemn dwellings are a handful of closed-up shops. Even the tavern is shut tight.

A soft whimpering draws your eye toward a pair of children standing in the middle of an otherwise life-less street. A girl and a boy of about 10 and 7 years old respectively. The boy is weeping and clutching a stuffed doll. The girl is trying to hush the boy.

After shushing the boy, the girl turns to you and says, "There's a monster in our house !"

Quest 2 : Elder Walter's Request

 

The next morning, after taking meal from Starry Eyes Inn, you were drawn into a funeral ceremony. Town folks had gathered in front of a fresh grave to pay their final respect. You heard that the person caught a curse or disease that turned him into an ice statue.

"Thanks for attending the funeral of Ulric," you heard someone speaking from behind in gruff voice and turned around. The speaker was a middle aged man, you recognize him - Elder Walter, the leader of the town council.

"I'm sorry to tell about a request in such situation, but I hope you can help. Vamp'Ire Town might be in danger."

Vamp'Ire Town

 

Vamp'Ire is a small, peaceful town in the Mainland . Though it is one of the most ancient settlements, very few people know of the town.

The town is located at the border of the Western Region of Mainland. It is surrounded by a hill range; there's only one way for entry/exit - the road connected the Town to the Avan.

The town has little places of interest, outsiders hardly visit the town. Only traders from Avan come from time to time, mainly for the wine that is made by the old man Gorneval. The only Inn - "Starry Eyes" is run by his daughter Mirabelle. There's a blacksmith shop at the entrance of the town.

The town is governed by a small council of 3 people - Elder Walter, Healer Sava Savonic and Captain Angmar.

Elder Walter is the head of the council. Captain Angmar is in charge of the militia, he recruits adventurers to defend the town.

Sava Savonic is the main healer of the town, he lives outside the town.

There's another healer in the town, Emeline. Another important person is Deputy Maria, who is responsible to maintain the peace in the town, mainly dealing with drunk people. She also takes part actively in defense against the wild beast attack.

Forest areas surrounded the town, peasants have cleared some area  and made farms. Not much threat from the wild animals, as the area is enclosed and most of the wild beasts are already hunted down. Some tiny animals roam there, the main threat is rats infesting the town and farms .

This seemingly peaceful, cozy town has a history that is forgotten by almost everyone. Only a few old people still know about some legends, but they don't talk about it.

Quest 1 : Join the Vamp'Ire Town Militia

Vamp'Ire Town is recruiting Adventurers in town militia.

Responsibilities include :

• Defending against beast attack
• Teaching town folks about battle
• Deal with bandits if necessary 

You came to know about the quest in "Twin Boulder Tavern" from the tavern owner , Old Pete.

Captain Angmar is in charge of recruiting new people in Vamp'Ire Militia.
